Born Again Ranch Dachshunds

On October 18th, 2006 our little black & tan female dachshund named "Light from Darkness" was lost out in the woods here at the ranch.  

We had many people praying for her and she was even prayed for on our Christian radio station WTRM

The Lord worked a miracle and she was found Sunday Nov 5th, 2006.

A man came upon her sitting on a log eating the carcus of a skunk.  He befriended her and then called the Sheriffs department where they had my information on their bulletin board. 

She was an 8 pound short hair female and survived 18 days without being killed by the numerous coyotes, fox, owls and eagles and endured temperatures that got down in the 20s. She lost down to 5.25 pounds and had some ticks on her but otherwise was fine. You have to know that this is a miraculous answer to all the prayers that went forth for her. 

I told people that I felt that her name was prophetic and that God was going to bring her back to the light out of the darkness that she was lost in.  He did just that!

We really thank the Lord for protecting our "Light from Darkness" and allowing us to have this wonderful story to tell.
